I hissed in pain as the hot liquid burned my tongue. My hand reached out to take a sip of my chai tea latte. "Instead of taking pictures of some dude you don't know, maybe you can help me finish the work that WE were assigned to." I said turning back to my laptop. "Don't look at me like that! Have you seen that beautiful man? He's so fucking hot." She said practically drooling. She looked at me before she began to speak in her defense. I stopped typing to stare at Sam in disgust. She was too hard to ignore when she began to take pictures. I ignored it, too busy trying to make deadlines. One particular day, Sam was busy staring at someone from across the room. I would never say it, but she pissed me off. It usually consisted of me sitting down and typing away on the computer while Sam was on her phone or being distracted by something else. Writing articles on the murders and also writing out different interviews. The editor-in-chief always made us do desk work. I didn't dislike the girl, our personalities just clashed too much. The other intern, a girl named Sam, was assigned with me. The only thing the newspaper was reporting on at that time was the murders. The whole staff was nice and seemed very welcoming, especially a few of the young guys. I went every Monday and Friday right after my noon classes ended. It was right after winter break when I began my internship at the local newspaper, The Roseville Gazette. The weather was warm, allowing people to still hang around late at night. The whole ordeal began during winter, right after break. My mom ended up making me walk around with a can of pepper spray neatly tucked away in my pocket. The death toll was slowly rising and the police had yet to find the suspect. For weeks, reports of murders happening across Roseville gave everybody the creeps. My original roommate ended up transferring to a different state leaving me all alone in my dorm. Uni was kicking my ass but I was determined to finish strong just like I had started. I was double majoring in astrophysics and journalism. At the time, I was a senior at a small down university known for its good STEM program. The stalking, the harassment and the obsession had already existed before I was thrown into a world full of endless torture. It all began before the entity even sucked me away into it's world. Mori's, full name being Momento Mori, were not added to the game until patch 1.5.3 - the reason for this being that the base game allowed Killers to choose whether they wanted to sacrifice Survivors via Hook or just kill Survivors using their signature Kill move that's unique to each killer. As a Killer, your goal in Dead by Daylight is to stop the generators from being done by sacrificing the Survivors to the Entity, but you can also just Mori Survivors instead.
